September / October 2012 Prayer Letter

We would like to start off by thanking all of you for your prayers. We were traveling to a meeting in SC on a Sunday morning during a rain storm. Before we knew it, we were almost involved in a 3 car wreck. We were on the tail end and did not get any damage but we slid in between the wrecked vehicles and the concrete retainer wall. I believe it was the prayers of God’s people that keep us safe and we thank you!

We had a busy last two months. The Lord allowed us to be in a different church every service in Sept. and Oct. We traveled through 10 different states on our deputation trail. We gained several new supporters putting us at the 50% mark! The most exciting news is we were able to see 5 people accept the Lord as their Saviour! Praise the Lord, He is still saving folks and we are privilege to be a part of it.

This is Taylor and Amber from Georgia, they got saved!

We were honored to be a part of two great Mission Conferences. One was a Home Mission’s Meeting that meet the needs of state side Missionaries. Our transmission was shifting hard for the last month and a half and because of prayer and God’s people being generous, the need was met to get the transmission fixed. Where God guides, He provides!

You may have noticed a difference in our letters last time. The ministry of Calvary Baptist in Tunnel Hill Georgia, which is headed up by Brother Bill Goins, is now taking care of printing and mailing out our letters. They have been a true blessing and have been a true representation of being God’s servant. Thank you all again for your prayers and financial support. We do not take it lightly and we are honored to represent you and the Lord. Please continue to pray for safety on the road, more meetings and support, and wisdom.

May/June 2012 Prayer Letter

Dear Praying Friends and Faithful Supporters,
As we approach the beginning of July, we can’t help but think of our country in
celebration of Independence Day. Our own country is in desperate need of hearing
the gospel and we can’t wait to start in Utah.
God opened the door for Aundrea to speak at several ladies meetings and she
also received a love offering to purchase a night guard for her TMJ which was
causing her extreme headaches. Since then, her headaches are completely gone!
We praise God for this answered prayer!
We are just in awe at what the Lord is doing! Who said a life on the road and
deputation isn’t amazing? We love it! We have seen souls saved and lives
changed. We have enjoyed it all from driving three hours to get home to our
beds to staying in motel rooms with nasty smells and bugs!
We had the whole months of May and June booked solid with 10 churches taking
us on for support including Nathan’s previous employer, Joe Gibbs Racing. We
are now at 34% of our goal. God has allowed us to also be completely booked on
Sundays through December and a few in 2013. We are getting excited as Utah is
coming into view quickly.
Please continue to pray for traveling mercies as we continue toward our goal.

Because of Christ,
The Kirkmans – Psalm 62:2

April 2012 Prayer Letter

We are excited about what the Lord is doing in our lives. The Lord has allowed
us to be booked solid in April and May with dates throughout the whole year.
We have also booked some meetings for 2013.
We are now at 21%. We have been in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee,
Virginia, Georgia and Alabama in the last two months. We have traveled
thousands of miles and we have been safe while traveling. We do look funny
with the big upright bass in the mini-van hovering over little Teeter’s head!
The Lord has supplied all of our needs and it has been awesome to watch our
children see prayers answered and God taking care of us. We have been so
blessed!
The girls are getting used to homeschooling in motel rooms and prophet’s
chambers. Maleeya turned 7 on April 1st, so we got to take them to the
Comedy Barn in Pigeon Forge while we were passing through.
Thank you to each and every pastor who has allowed us to come in and present
our burden for Utah. We are very honored and thank each church member
for making us feel so at home. Please keep praying for traveling mercies
and more meetings. The Lord is truly blessing and we count it an honor to be
serving Him. Thank you for your prayers and God bless.
