November/December 2013 Prayer Letter

Hello Praying Friends and Faithful Supporters,

It is hard to believe that 2013 is gone already. We look back over the past year and the Lord has truly blessed our family! We thank you all for the prayers for safety while we traveled the road of deputation. We truly can quote Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus".

We are excited to announce that we will be leaving for the field on April 26th. There is a lot to plan for this so please help us pray for this transition. If you or your Church would like to help financially, please indicate on the check "moving expenses". The total cost will be around $6,000.00 to make the move. Also, if you or your Church would like to do a Mission trip this summer to Logan and knock on doors/work on building, please contact me.

We look forward to these last few months on the road. It really is bittersweet for we are ready to do the work God has called us to but we have enjoyed being in great meetings and meeting so many wonderful people!

Help us pray that God will open a door for us to get a building to start the Church in. We know He has a plan and we want to be obedient to it. As the time comes closer, we will fly out to Logan to look for a house. Help us pray this goes smoothly and God will give us what He wants us to have.

The girls are doing great and so many of you have made deputation a joy for them. This was an answered prayer because Aundrea and I wanted them to look back and remember deputation as a blessing and that serving our Lord is a joy!

Please continue praying for safety on the road these last few months and that we will reach our goal support. We currently stand at 96%! This is what is promised so help us pray that it will faithfully come in. Also help us pray for a family to come out and help do the work. We love you all and God bless!

Because of Christ,

September/October 2013 Prayer Letter

Hello Praying Friends and Faithful Supporters,

It is hard to believe we are just about to close out 2013! God has been good to us and we want to praise His holy name! We have been in some good meetings these past few months and met some wonderful people.

Our travels have taken us through TN,VA,WV,SC,GA,MS,LA,TX,AL, and FL! We have had some new partners come on board putting us at 93%! This is the amount that is pledged but only 83% is actually coming in. Please help us pray about this matter.

We are still planning to make the move in mid April. There's been several who have asked if there is some things we need for the move. If you or your church would be interested, you can donate any amount toward the moving cost and label it, "Moving Expenses". These expenses would include gas, motel rooms, food, and several plane tickets to fly those who drove out, exceeding $6000.

We would ask you to pray that God would send a family with us to help in starting the church. I feel like this would be a great benefit in many ways but it would take a family that is sold out 100% to do the work of the Lord! Could it be YOU?

As I look back over our calendar, I see how God has opened so many doors for our family to present the ministry. If we have been in your church to present the ministry, we would like to ask that you would prayerfully consider supporting our family. With only 7% remaining, it would only take a few supporters to reach our goal.

We have several churches excited about coming out next summer to knock on doors and work on whatever the Lord gives us. We would love for many more to come out and we believe it would be a good opportunity to expose folks to Missions in the West! Please pray about coming out! May the Lord bless!

Because of Christ

May/June 2013 Prayer Letter

For PDF version click here: May/June 2013

We trust this letter finds you well and thank you for taking the time to be a part
of our ministry God has put us in. We have been very busy with our travels on
the road and we believe the doors have opened because you all have prayed for
those needs mentioned in previous letters!

We have been amazed how God has worked in our lives providing every need.
When we started in Janurary 2012, we did not know what to expect. We heard
all the horror stories and even heard how deputation was a waste of time. Well
we would like to say that deputation has taught us so much and we have met
some great people like you all that truly prays for us.

We had several new churches partner up with us the last couple months putting
us at 81% of our support goal! We plan to go out to Logan, Utah in August to survey
the area for a location to plant the church and start looking for housing. We
will be in meetings as we drive out hoping to pick up some more support out
West.

The girls have been enjoying the road and I pray it is something they will remember
as a blessing and not a burden. Aundrea and I have watched them grow in
the Lord and they have learned so much about the ministry. They are ready to
make the move as long as they can get a little dog and have some chickens when
we get there!

As of right now, we plan to make the move late March, early April. We hope we
can get settled in as the winter calms down and get a good start on the church
plant as the warmer weather comes in. Please pray for God to guide us to where
He would have the church, for safety on the road, and for doors to open to present
the work.

Because of Christ,
Nathan A. Kirkman

March/April 2013 Prayer Letter

Hello Praying Friends and Faithful Supporters,

Since our last prayer letter, we have been in various meetings ranging from GA, NC, TN, FL, SC to VA. We kicked off March in a Mission's Conference and seen God move in a big way! This church and several more partnered with us putting us at 75% of our support.

We had the privilege to preach and present the ministry at a church in Georgia where Mrs. Beth Cloud accepted Christ as her Saviour. Please pray that God will continue to work in her life!

We had the opportunity to be in several Mission's Conferences and Revivals where many lives were changed eternally. God opened up the door for new opportunities to present the ministry in the future. We are excited about some upcoming meetings we have scheduled in the next few months.

The girls have enjoyed the road and we want to thank each and every one who has invested to make our children feel special. This is a big deal to my wife and I because we want our children to remember deputation as being a blessing, not a burden.

Please help us pray as we are planning another trip out West in late August/early September. We will be driving through various states presenting the ministry as we make our way to Utah. Pray for safety and guidance while we are on the road.

Because of Christ,
Nathan Kirkman

Jan/Feb 2013 Prayer Letter

Dear Praying Friends and Faithful Supporters,

We have been very busy in the months of Jan. and Feb. God gave us a full calendar with many meetings. We traveled through 3 states on the deputation trail and met many new friends in the ministry.

We had several churches join us in our endeavor to reach the people in Utah. We just reached 70% of our goal support. We thank the Lord for what He is doing in our lives and the doors He has allowed to open.

In January, our middle daughter Maleeya accepted the Lord as her personal Saviour! I had the great privilege to baptize her at our home church. We can win the world but if we lose our family, what have we gained? We praise God that Shaylee and Maleeya are saved and we are praying for Teeter to soon come to the saving knowledge of our Lord.

We are excited about the next couple months. We have a busy calendar with several Mission Conference's that we will be a part of. When we are not in meetings, God has used our family to be part of revivals and special services providing special music. This has exposed us to new Pastors and opened up new opportunities to present the work.

Last, we want to thank you for the cards Shaylee and Teeter received for their birthday's. They made them feel real special. Please pray for more doors and traveling mercies as traveling will pick up in the next months to come.

Because of Christ,
Nathan Kirkman

November / December 2012 Prayer Letter

Dear Praying Friends and Faithful Supporters,

We would like to start off by saying,
THANK YOU ALL for your faithful prayers and financial support you have given to and for us! We are coming to a close on our first year of deputation and I have to say, God guides where He provides!
Over the past 2 months we have traveled through 11 states on our way to meetings. We had the privilege to be a part of 5 Mission Conferences during our travels. We hade 7 new churches partner up with us putting us at 58%. We had the joy of seeing 3 precious souls come to the Lord and ask Him to save them!

Our plan is to be on the field the Spring of 2014. We have trusted the Lord in this and if the support keeps coming in, He will honor our prayer!

Victor got Saved!

The Lord has blessed us with some good meetings to come in the near future. We are excited to see what God has in store for the New Year! We are trying to be frugal with God’s money and we are asking if anyone would prefer our prayer letter by email, please email me at hopeforutah@aol.com letting us know.

Pray for safety and wisdom as we do the work the Lord has called our family to! We thank God for the Brothers and Sisters in Christ we have met along the depu-tation trail. May God bless you all in the New Year to come!

Because of Christ,

Nathan Kirkman

September / October 2012 Prayer Letter

We would like to start off by thanking all of you for your prayers. We were traveling to a meeting in SC on a Sunday morning during a rain storm. Before we knew it, we were almost involved in a 3 car wreck. We were on the tail end and did not get any damage but we slid in between the wrecked vehicles and the concrete retainer wall. I believe it was the prayers of God’s people that keep us safe and we thank you!

We had a busy last two months. The Lord allowed us to be in a different church every service in Sept. and Oct. We traveled through 10 different states on our deputation trail. We gained several new supporters putting us at the 50% mark! The most exciting news is we were able to see 5 people accept the Lord as their Saviour! Praise the Lord, He is still saving folks and we are privilege to be a part of it.

This is Taylor and Amber from Georgia, they got saved!

We were honored to be a part of two great Mission Conferences. One was a Home Mission’s Meeting that meet the needs of state side Missionaries. Our transmission was shifting hard for the last month and a half and because of prayer and God’s people being generous, the need was met to get the transmission fixed. Where God guides, He provides!

You may have noticed a difference in our letters last time. The ministry of Calvary Baptist in Tunnel Hill Georgia, which is headed up by Brother Bill Goins, is now taking care of printing and mailing out our letters. They have been a true blessing and have been a true representation of being God’s servant. Thank you all again for your prayers and financial support. We do not take it lightly and we are honored to represent you and the Lord. Please continue to pray for safety on the road, more meetings and support, and wisdom.

Because of Christ,
